Within Europe, spot shipping continues to be slow with quite a lot of prompt spot space available and fewer enquiries for 2H July with many market players going on holidays. As restrictions to curb the spread of the pandemic began to ease in some parts of Europe, more plants are gradually increasing operating rates. However, many market players expect it will still take some time before any significant impact is observed in shipping requirements.
