This Privacy Policy applies to spimarine.com and all associated subdomains, digital properties, and content platforms operated by the SPI Marine group of companies ("SPI Marine," "we," "us," or "our"), including "The Current" market intelligence platform.

SPI Marine operates internationally through a number of affiliated entities, including offices in Houston and Norwalk (United States), Newark (United Kingdom), Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Singapore, Shanghai (China), and Seoul (Korea). For purposes of this Policy, the SPI Marine entity responsible for operating this website and for determining the purposes and means of processing personal data collected through it (the "data controller" under applicable law) is:

This is a single, global policy intended to apply consistently across all jurisdictions in which SPI Marine operates or has website visitors. Section 11 sets out additional rights and disclosures that apply specifically to visitors in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom, the United States, and Singapore, reflecting the different legal frameworks in each region. Where a regional section provides a stronger protection than the general policy, the regional section controls for visitors in that region.

Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an applicable adequacy decision. Where we transfer personal data out of Singapore, we take steps consistent with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 to ensure a comparable standard of protection at the recipient.

12.2 United States

Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and comparable statutes in other states. Where applicable, these include the right to know the categories of personal data we collect and the purposes for collection, the right to delete personal data we hold about you, the right to correct inaccurate data, the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data, and the right to obtain a portable copy of your personal information (SPI Marine does not sell personal data and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising). 12.3 Singapore

If you are located in Singapore, you have rights under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), including the right to access and correct your personal data and to withdraw consent to its collection, use, or disclosure, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. 14. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.
